Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, these Terms of Use and Sale apply to your use of our website "RT ROBOT SHOP" (the "Website"), through which You can purchase RT products ("Product" or "Products"). By accessing or using the Website, You agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions concerning your access to, use of, and purchase through the Website.
We reserve the right to revise the Terms of Use and Sale at any time without notice to You.
By "You" we mean our registered members and non-registered members who browse the Website and purchase our Products.

[RT Robot Shop Membership]

It is not mandatory but you may want to register as RT Robot Shop Member.
We may ask you to provide your Personal Data (as defined below) when you register for an account in the Website, You purchase a Product, contact us for sales or technical support, participate in marketing/sales promotions, subscribe to our newsletters or promotional emails, request quote or information about our Products, or register for our seminars or conferences.
By “Personal Data” we mean any information that can directly or indirectly, identify You as an individual, such as name, address, email address, billing information, telephone number, and demographic and geographic information, such as age, interests, preferences, gender, location data relating to your school, college, business, or company.
We use your Personal Data to carry out the transactions as You have requested, including but not limited to Product delivery, support, accounting and billing, communication, advertisement, or otherwise as required or permitted by law.
The Personal Data we collect will be stored and processed or otherwise handled in Japan or any other country in which our affiliate companies or business partners maintain their facilities.
We, our affiliate companies and business partners take care to ensure that appropriate safeguard and security measures are in place for the handling, storage, processing, transfer and disposal of Personal Data. If we become aware that the privacy of the Personal Data has been compromised, we will promptly report to You and take actions to prevent mishandling.We may transfer or share your Personal Data with our affiliate companies or business partners, on a need-to-know basis and to the extent required to carry out the transactions as You requested, to increase our responsiveness to your needs and requests, and improve our communication or business relationship with you.
Except as described in the foregoing paragraph, we will not disclose your Personal Data to third parties, unless we are required to do so in compliance with laws and regulations, and in connection with legal orders from law enforcement.

You may download, store, display on your computer, view and print the information and materials ("Materials") we make available to You on the Website subject to the following:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Website and all the information made available through the Website are provided on an "as-is" basis. Any content accessed, downloaded, or otherwise used is done so at your own discretion and risk. We do not warrant that the Website will be available on an uninterrupted, secure, error-free manner.

[Your Order]

While we make our best efforts to ensure that the Products appearing in our Website are available, we cannot guarantee that all Products are in stock or immediately available when you submit your order ("Order"). We may reject your order without liability if we are unable to process it and we will refund to you any prior payment you have made in connection with such rejected order. We may occasionally run promotion prices but due to their time-sensitive and promotional nature, we are unable to offer price protection or retroactive discounts or refunds for future purchases.
Prices stated in our quotations, price lists, descriptions and other documents are in Japanese Yen and may be subject to change with or without notice.
All Orders shipped outside of Japan may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.
You may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once the shipment reaches your country.
You may also be required to fulfill additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges, nor can we indicate what they may be.
We reserve the right to correct all typographical or clerical errors which may be present in our prices or specifications.
All orders in Japanese Yen currency will be converted into your country’s currency using the applicable currency conversion rate on the date the transaction.

[Acceptance]

We will automatically send You an email acknowledging receipt of Your Order but this automatic email, as well as quotations and descriptions of the Products do not constitute an offer and may be withdrawn or revised at any time prior to our written acknowledgement and acceptance of your Order.
Orders are shipped by EMS (Express Mail Service) but You may request us to ship your Product using your preferred shipping carrier rather than our partnered shipping carrier options but be advised that in this case You may incur in delays, additional processing and handling fees and we may not be able to cater to your request.
The estimated shipping and delivery dates are based on the information You have provided to us.
We will make our best efforts to ship by the estimated shipping date, but we reserve the right to change such date free of any liability to You.
In no event we will be liable for any damage resulting from any delivery delays beyond our control.

[Methods of Payment]

Payment may be made by:
-cash on delivery (COD)
-Paypal
-Wire transfer to the account specified in the invoice.

Full payment is required for confirmation of your Order, failing which your Order will not be processed.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, your Order does not include any optional features such as setup and configuration services, equipment installation services, and assembly services.
Should you need any such services, please contact us for further information about the range of services offered and to arrange a quotation.

[Order Cancellation]

You may cancel items or Orders that haven't entered the shipping process yet.
Please note that you may not make partial cancellations of items that are part of a kit/set.
Please contact us immediately informing us the order number if you purchased a Product by mistake (i.e.,if you have accidentally pressed the purchase button), so that we can process your order cancellation request in a timely manner.


You may not cancel items after Product shipping but you may refuse your shipment/delivery. If you decide to refuse, we will charge cancellation fees
based on the costs we incurred at the time of cancellation, including return shipping, handling and overhead charges.
You may not cancel any item that is part of a kit.


We reserve the right to cancel your Order in part or in whole if:
*The item(s) is(are) out-of-stock or discontinued.
*PayPal fails to approve the credit card details You provided.
*The prices indicated in the Website are incorrect compared to the market price.
*The item(s) become(s) unavailable in hot deals or special offers that are valid for a limited time only.
*No payment within 2 weeks after You ordered.

[Return Policy]

The following Products are not eligible for return:
-ROBOTIS Products;
-bespoke Products.


You may return any standard specification Product you have ordered within ten (10) days from receipt of delivery. You will be entitled to receive a full refund excluding shipping, handling and overhead charges. Prior to returning the Products let us know the reason. You must have the original receipt or packing slip to complete your return and the Product must be unopened with its original packaging kept intact.


If you have received a damaged, defective, or wrong Product (“Defective Product”) and wish to replace it, contact us within ten (10) days from receipt of delivery and return to us the Defective Product so that we are able to issue a refund, send out a replacement or repair the Product. We will be providing you with a replacement at no cost to you, save in the event that our investigation of the Defective Product reveals that it was not defective.

[Refund Method]
Unless specifically stated otherwise, refunds are processed by using the original payment method.

You will be refunded through PayPal after we receive and confirm the Products.

We will refund to your bank account.

[Missing Items]

If an item is missing from your Order or your Order is incomplete, please contact us. Missing items must be reported within five (5) days from receipt of delivery to qualify for a credit, refund or replacement for the said missing item.

[Warranties]

We warrant that the products conform to the specifications we provided under normal usage and proper installation.
We agree to repair or replace a non-conforming Product at our sole discretion for warranty claims made within twelve (12) months from the date of receipt of delivery.
Normal wear and tear are excluded from the warranty, and we may refuse a warranty claim if:
(a) the Product has not been properly used.
(b) the operating instructions, manuals and guidelines were not observed.
(c) the Product including its documentation was modified, or non-original parts and accessories were added.
(d) previous services or repairs were performed by a third party.
Other than the warranty specifically provided for herein, we make no other warranties, express or implied, with respect to the Product, performance, workmanship, quality, condition, merchantability, accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.
Any warranty claim herein shall be submitted to us in writing with a detailed description of the non-conformity. Upon receipt of the product in our facility we will perform the required repair or parts replacement and restore the product to its normal working condition, free-of-charge. Otherwise, we will send out a replacement if we deem it more appropriate.
In either case the shipping costs shall be borne by you.

[Limitation of Liability]

In no event we will be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue or savings, arising out of or in any way connected with these Terms of Use and Sale, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. In no event our liability under this Terms of Use and Sale shall exceed the amount you actually paid to us hereunder. In the event that no amount was paid, we will have no liability for any damages whatsoever, to the extent permitted by law.

[Intellectual Property Rights]

We own all proprietary rights, titles and interests in and to the Website and Products, including but not limited to copyright,know-how, technical specifications, concepts, patents, designs, other technologies and intellectual property provided by us to you as part of the Products.
These Terms of Use and Sale do not grant you license or permission to use our trademarks, trade names, service marks, or product names save to the extent required to reasonable and customary description of the Products. You may not remove any Product identification, copyright, trademark or other notice from the Products. We may grant you a license to use the documentation relating to the Products under the terms and conditions set out in the relevant license agreement.

[Governing law]

These Terms of Use and Sale shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
