Speed controllers for small motors
The MD-1 is an ESC (Electric Speed Controller) for small motors. It is compatible with brushed motors up to 370 sizes. It is small, lightweight, and has a flat design for easy mounting on a robot, so it can be easily fixed with commercially available double-sided tape.



Neutral brake specification is suitable for operation of robots and craft sets.
The MD-1 is available in two line-ups: one with a brake and back (RC car ESC specification), which is the same as the general RC ESC, and one with a neutral brake specification, which is suitable for self-building and modification of robots and craft sets.

The neutral brake specification is recommended for robots and caterpillar craft sets. In a typical ESC, the brake is activated by backing up after the forward operation. In contrast, the neutral brake version allows the driver to move forward and then backward as is. Brake operation can be activated by returning to the neutral position (center).



Can also be controlled in combination with a microcomputer board.
The MD-1 can be controlled by the same method and the same PWM signal as general RC servos, so you can use the library for RC servos such as Arduino as it is.

Since forward/reverse rotation and output control are performed on the MD-1 side, it is possible to control without worrying about the complicated electronic control part on the microcomputer side, such as using a commercially available motor driver.

The wiring to the microcomputer board also fits neatly because there are only signal lines, power supply and GND.

The maximum current is 1.9A (FET specification: 5.3A), and if it exceeds 1.9A, the current limit is applied. The current limit function is designed to reduce the load on the motor and prevent it from being damaged.
