The KRS-3302 ICS is a small servo with a cube-type design. Resin gears and a cored motor provide smooth operation and moderate torque at an affordable price point.
The case is the same size as the KRS-3304R2 ICS with metal gears and high torque, so it can be assembled using the same frame.
Although it is a low-cost servo, it is designed without compromising the gear alignment. This allows for quiet and smooth operation.
The KRS-3302 has adopted ICS3.6, which provides commands to acquire the current value. The current value can be read in the same way as the command to read stretch or speed, so it is useful when controlling the servo in a program.
[Difference Between KRS-3301 and KRS]
The KRS-3302 has a new powerful motor. The structure of this new motor is also different from the usual one, with the motor tube being square when viewed in cross-section. Conventional bale motors have two magnets glued to the tube, but this square motor tube has magnets glued to each of the four corners. This makes it possible to increase the diameter of the rotor and thus output a higher torque than before. In addition, the holding power of the axis has been strengthened, allowing for more stable motion reproduction. You can feel the difference in the walking and getting up motion of the bipedal robot. In addition, hunting (a phenomenon in which the axis of the servo vibrates) is less likely to occur.
[About options]
The case and gears are all the same as the KRS-3301. Options are also available for common products. Of course, since the case size is the same, it can be combined with all the parts of the KXR series.
Gears: Plastic gears
The gear alignment is adjusted in 0.01mm increments for smooth and unobtrusive operation.
Case: KRS-3300 series
Because it is a cube type, the silhouette of the robot does not change greatly no matter which direction it is placed, so it does not ruin the style of the robot. In addition, it is easy to design and install the frame because there is little unevenness on the surface.
*The case of the repair parts is compatible with the "Servo Case for KRS-3301". Please note that "Servo Case for KRS-3300 Series" cannot be used.
Wiring: ZH connector ×2
The cable is detachable and can be replaced with any length of cable you like. Since two connectors are mounted, it is possible to connect servos to each other and make multi-drop connections.
Communication Specification: ICS3.6
ICS3.6 is the upward compatible specification of ICS3.5, which implements the command to get the current value to the content of 3.5.
For communication, you can choose between serial and PWM as before.
The servo communication can be changed to match the microcomputer board to be controlled.
In serial mode, you can assign IDs to servos, so you can connect servos to each other with multi-drop connection.
KRS-3301/3302/3304/3304R2 can be mixed.
The KRS-3300 series can be used together in a multi-drop connection. Also, the parts of the KXR series can be used in the same way.
